Meet The Team

Alycea Ungaro’s RPTT program certified, Amy is a Third Generation Classical Pilates Instructor that has gone through 600 hours of comprehensive training in the techniques and teachings of Joseph H. Pilates.
Amy trains regularly at a range of exercises, including: HIIT, weight training and Thai boxing. She very quickly realised that Pilates was unique in combining strength, precision and control like no other sports. Having suffered from recurring back injuries and frequent physio treatments, Pilates has helped Amy to be more aware of her body alignments when exercising and strengthened her muscles to prevent injuries.
With an eye for detail, Amy’s teaching style is highly engaging and encourages clients to challenge themselves just that little bit more.
Amy
Originally from Italy, but based in Hong Kong since early 2004, Federica started her yogic journey when she moved to Asia, fascinated by the sense of peace and release she immediately experienced on and off the mat. Yoga practice inspired her to live each moment more mindfully and empathetically and to help others find the same comfort through it.
She completed her yoga training under the guidance of Master Yogananth Andiappan, at Anahata-Yoga from the Heart, where she is currently teaching ,and she has been active in the Andiappan Yoga Community (AYC) in Discovery Bay, where she is leading a free community yoga project. Federica believes yoga is the right balance between strength and flexibility, so her classes combine a Yin and Yang approach to postures, with a focus on meditation and breathing techniques. Her teaching combines the correct alignment, breath awareness and body work, whether she is leading a more dynamic or a restorative class, aiming to encourage each student to explore their own potential.

Her students love her holistic approach that embodies the best of traditional and western practices.
